Our local community in Palm Springs will gather November 13th from 8:am till 4:pm at the Healing and Health Expo 2021!

We hear you. The past year has been “unprecedented.” Scary. Lonely. Isolating. Self-care has been replaced by self-preservation.

We would like to propose a health expo to be held November 13, 2021, with set up starting at 8 a.m. with the fair starting from 10 am to 4pm.

This document is intended to provide an outline of the program, objectives and what incentives will be the most important for its success. The mission is to provide information, resources and, mental health awareness CPR training and on-site testing to help improve the quality of life with early detection and prevention.

A health expo is the greatest outreach tool to provide accurate information about health issues and trigger behavior change and to provide booths for screenings. By the end of the health fair, 60% of the participants will receive blood sugar and blood pressure screenings. The expo will be located in the parking lot of the church. The number of booths and booth locations will be determined after initial inspection and planning meeting.

This year’s Expo is dedicated to AMPLIFYING the collective voice of – and individual voices in – the community.

• We want you to hear from each other and be heard by the ecosystem that serves us. Health Expo 2021 will feature more opportunities than ever to share, listen and connect.

• We are committed to empowering and shining light on community members and topics that aren’t typically in the spotlight.

• Health Expo 2021 will include panel discussions, support sessions and learning tracks that customize attendee education and elevate the voices and topics that most need to be heard.

Now 2021 finds us (finally) feeling more hopeful. The safety of our community means that this year’s Expo will be held with safe rules in place. Expo 2021 will be a place where you can renew connections, satisfy your curiosity and get back on the path to your best life.
