 Sharifah Hardie, President Long Beach Chapter

Sharifah Hardie was a Long Beach City Council Candidate in the 2020 March 3rd Primary Election, and is a diversity, equity and inclusion expert.

Ms. Hardie is a business consultant, author, talk show host, Candidate for 2024 California State Senate District 33, President of the Black Chamber of Commerce – Long Beach Area, Founder of BlackGuestList.com and Editor-In-Chief at LongBeachBlackNews.com. 

Ms. Hardie is Host of Ask Sharifah Videocast and Podcast, as well as daily morning business talk show The Round Table Talk Show. Sharifah is the author of Signs You Might Be An Entrepreneur – How to Discover the Entrepreneur in You and the ebook, Everything You Need to Know About Social Media Marketing. 

Her innovative style brings fresh ideas to the ever-changing landscape of business, technology, entertainment, media, marketing and advertising. She is an expert at raising capital, being able to take calculated risks to design new levels of recognition and acceptance for the businesses she works with and creating positive change in the lives that she touches!



The Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce presents its annual Job Fair and Business Expo followed by a Black-Tie Awards Dinner on June 11th, 2022. The Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce (SCBCC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) business organization dedicated to improving the economic environment for the minority business community and fostering business development and prosperity.

Hosted by Long Beach Chapter President Sharifah Hardie, this event will provide job assistance to the Long Beach community, accelerate Black business growth & recognize influential Black leaders in the community. The Job Fair & Business expo will also provide sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers a platform to provide first-class professional development and leadership training, to share their products and services, hire qualified individuals and to deliver their message to eager attendees.

The Black-Tie Awards Dinner Features Keynote Speaker Councilmember Al Austin II. Councilmember Austin was elected to the Long Beach City Council in 2012, re-elected to a second term in 2016 and re-elected to a third term in 2020. He represents Council District 8 and has initiated several programs, including an annual event to provide more than 1,500 free backpacks and school supplies to local kids, an innovative community program to provide free exercise and activities for hundreds of seniors at the Expo Arts Center and provides great insights on all aspects of business.

Hosted at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel, 111 East Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA, this upscale event is situated in the central downtown area: a 12-minute walk from Aquarium of the Pacific and a 13-minute walk from the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center.
