The Black Chamber offers a variety of Workshops and Seminars designed
to help establish, maintain and grow businesses. All are welcome
to attend. The following workshops are offered online and at various
locations in the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire.

Media
Training I
This workshop focuses on writing, formatting and distributing
press releases; pitching your business to the media and other
businesses; and training the small business owner to actively
enage the press and media. Workshop Fee: Members: $75 | Non-members

Training II
This workshop provides attendees with how to talk to the press;
media interviewing techniques and working with the press for the
long-term. Members: $75 | Non-members $100

Financing
Your Business
Learn about the various financing options available to businesses,
including bank loans, small business loans, investors and grants.
This workshop will also focus on your business plan and how lending
institutions and investors use the business plan to evaluate your
business. Members: $75 | Non-members $100

Start-Up
This workshop covers the initial stages of business start-up and
offers expertise in several areas: start-up financing, business
and marketing plan development, marketing strategy, licensing,
partnerships, corporations and sole-proprietorships, financial
statements, office and software set-up, and more. 2 sessions.

Minority
Business Certification - Level I
This workshop is designed for minority and women-owned businesses
interested in becoming certified and learning more about the benefits
and the application process. Workshop participants will be provided
with information about the various types of certifications; certification
costs; and how to leverage certifications with corporate and government
supplier diversity programs. Members: $35 | Non-members $50
